EGR B2B AWARDS LondonPlaytech, Dragon Fish, Evolution Gaming and Micro-gaming all sccoped
honours at the first eGR B2B Awards held in London in June, all carrying
home awards in more than one category.
Playtech led the
competition with two awards in its own name and for its recently
acquired Virtue Fusion bingo business. The casino and poker developer
laid waste in the poker section, beating Microgaming, GTECH G2 and
Ongame to lift the poker software and poker network of the year awards,
the judges present remarking on its “proven commitment to improving
their poker product” and its “strong liquidity and breadth of
licensees.” Virtue Fusion then scooped the ultra competitve bingo
software supplier award, with Dragonfish, NYX and Parlay left in their
wake.
Dragonfish triumphed over Betsson Business Solutions,
Centrebet, GTECH G2 and NeoGames Network to scoop the white label
partner prize in London's Old Billingsgate Market. 888's Business 2
Business arm also nudged out Virtue Fusion and Microgaming to win the
bingo network of the year award.
Microgaming beat Playtech Casino, Net
Entertainment and Wagerworks to lift the RNG (virtual) casino supplier
trophy. The Isle of Man-based company then completeted a memorable night
by seeing off mobile specialists Probability, Mfuse, Mobenga and
Wagerworks to the mobile casino supplier of the year prize, with its
Spin3 mobile subsidiary.
Evolution Gaming scooped the final award
of the night, for software/network rising performer of the year, judges
calling its entry “hsistory in the making.”
The highly
compettive innovation in sports betting software award went to
sportsbook supplier Every Matrix, which judges said “had altered the
landscape in sportsbooks” by “letting customers come into the market in a
way which wasn’t previously possible.”
